Some major skiing stars will help to conduct the third annual Cochran’s Dry Land Clinic on Sunday, Sept. 14, at Cochran’s Ski Area in Richmond.

The Vermont Alpine Racing Association and Cochran’s have lined up Robby Kelley, a 2013 World Championship Team member; Jimmy Cochran, a U.S. national champion and Olympian; Timmy Kelley, the NCAA slalom champion; and current ski team members and coaches at the University of Vermont.

The dry-land training clinic is open to ski racers of all ages, and to coaches, from any state.

The clinic is Sunday, Sept. 14, from noon to 5 p.m. at Cochran’s, located at 910 Cochran Road, Richmond.

Participants will check in at noon and hear from Jimmy Cochran. From 12:30 to 3:30, Jimmy Cochran and Robby and Timmy Kelley, along with UVM ski team members, will conduct the dry-land clinic. Racers will learn a variety of dry-land workout sessions, and can challenge themselves on three U.S. Ski Team fitness tests — vertical jump, broad jump and pull-ups.

Also on the schedule:

• 1 p.m., tuning clinic for parents with Graham Lonetto, owner of Edgewise Elite Ski Service in Stowe.

• 3:30 p.m., autograph session with U.S. Ski Team members and UVM racers.
