Toys for Tots of Washington County, part of the national campaign sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, thanks all those who helped support our toy collection again this year. A huge thank you to the merchants who were drop-off sites for toys: Curves of Waterbury, K.C’s Bagel Café, Kinney Drugs, Waterbury Pharmacy, Sunflower Salon, Duxbury AutoTech and the Duxbury Country Store. A special thank you also goes out to the Waterbury Fire Department and Ted’s Kar Kare for collecting toys at their Christmas parties this year.
As in previous years, the town’s generosity was overwhelming, and I’m sure that there were many happy children on Christmas morning as they opened their toys and gifts from Santa. Thank you for helping put smiles on their faces!
