A Waterbury woman has been charged with driving under the influence, cruelty to children, and unlawful mischief.
Annemarie Sharp, 31, was arrested after Vermont State Police responded to a citizen dispute on Lovely Road in Cabot Sunday just before 3 p.m.
Police allege Annemarie Sharp was intoxicated, had punched out the rear windshield of her boyfriend’s car, and had driven with her children in the vehicle.
Sharp went through sobriety exercises, then provided a breath test that showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.16 percent, double the 0.08 that’s proof of intoxication.
Sharp was taken to the state police offices in Middlesex for processing, fingerprints and photographs. She’s due in Washington County Superior Court Dec. 11.
