A Waterbury man faces a trespassing charge after he showed up a Shaw’s Supermarket last week.

Waterbury police arrested Kenneth Bayley, 65, of Waterbury on Friday, April 18 at about 5:30 p.m. for allegedly violating a notice of trespass to stay away from the supermarket.

An employee at the store notified police that Bayley had been in the store.

He was previously cited for trespassing at the supermarket in August 2013 after he continually showed up there and showed partially nude photos of women from calendars to female clerks at the checkout, according to police.

Since last year, both Shaw’s employees and officers have repeatedly warned Bayley to stay away from the property.

He is due in Washington County District Court June 5.
