May 18 at 2:36 a.m., assisted Washington County Sheriff’s Department at an alleged underage drinking party on Upland Mowing Road.
May 19 at 3:49 p.m., a woman reported someone may have attempted to break in to her car outside the Waterbury Public Library. She said it appeared someone drilled the vehicle’s electric lock. Reports of the damage could not be confirmed because the woman was driving back home to Watertown, Conn.
May 19 at 6:52 p.m., report of two drunken females in the village. The women were gone when the officer arrived.
May 19 at 7:45 p.m., report of a parked car with the gasoline cap and fuel filler door open. The vehicle owner did not report any missing gasoline.
May 19 at 9:19 p.m., assisted animal control officer in response to multiple complaints about a dog running loose on Randall Street.
May 19 at 10:02 p.m., responded to an alleged domestic dispute on Wall Street.
May 20 at 3:04 p.m., ran vehicle identification number check.
May 20 at 3:25 p.m., a report of an alleged underage drinking party the previous weekend and a possible case of bullying at Harwood Union High School were transferred to the State Police.
May 20 at 6:56 p.m., ran radar on Stowe Street.
May 20 at 9:15 p.m., foot patrol and parking enforcement downtown.
May 20 at 10:11 p.m., a woman running through downtown was concerned she was being followed by a domestic-model silver pickup truck operated by a male in his 60s. No additional complaints were reported.
May 21 at 6:54 p.m., directed patrol and monitored speed on Stowe Street.
May 21 at 8:23 p.m., assisted State Police in finding owner of the Sunoco station on South Main Street, as they needed to take an employee there into custody.
May 21 at 7:37 a.m., found two children ages 3 and 5 riding their bikes in the street. Returned them home to their mother, who said they got up before she did and she was unaware they were gone.
May 22 at 10:34 a.m., reports of thefts at Billings Mobil and True Value by the same person. A man stole a can of hard lemonade from the gas station and returned it when confronted by an employee. The same man then allegedly stole a pair of pocket shears from the hardware store. Police were unable to locate the man.
May 22 at 11:43 a.m., welfare check on East Street was canceled.
May 22 at 5:20 p.m., found man from alleged theft at True Value. After questioning and reviewing video of theft, man admitted taking the shears and turned them over to police.
May 22 at 8:42 p.m., foot patrol and parking enforcement downtown.
May 23 at 5:33 p.m., report of someone possibly driving drunk with a child in the car.
May 23 at 7:48 p.m., vehicle identification number inspection.
May 24 at 2:05 a.m., assisted State Police with a drunken-driving stop on Route 100.
May 24 at 1:01 p.m., report of a hit and run turned out to be false.
May 24 at 2:55 p.m., wallet found on South Main Street was returned to the owner.
May 24 at 7:50 p.m., false alarm at Keurig Green Mountain Inc.
May 25 at 12:15 a.m., assisted State Police with domestic dispute.
May 25 at 3:41 p.m., suspicious person reported at Park Row and Main Street. Person was gone when officer arrived.
May 26 at 12:08 a.m., someone sought help for a release of a restraining order.
May 26 at 3:01 p.m., foot patrol and parking enforcement downtown.
May 26 at 5:02 p.m., false alarm at 130 S. Main St.
May 26 at 8:21 p.m., attempted to secure a temporary restraining order.
May 27 at 3:41 p.m., false alarm at Crossroads Beverage.
May 28 at 8:32 a.m., spoke to man at 64 S. Main St., who refused to go inside. He told the officer he was waiting for a ride. The man eventually went inside at the officer’s request.
May 29 at 2:49 p.m., man who drove off with $5 in gasoline from the Champlain Farms gas station on Main Street later returned and paid the bill.
May 30 at 11:48 a.m., a license plate was stolen on Wallace Street.
May 30 at 1:06 p.m., told driver of a tractor-trailer truck parked on Stowe Street to move the rig immediately, as it was blocking traffic.
May 30 at 4:29 p.m., assisted State Police. No further information available.
May 30 at 3:56 p.m., helped with an unruly child on Blush Hill Road.
May 31 at 11:02 a.m., assisted Waterbury Ambulance with a call at Rusty Parker Park after a man tripped, fell and cut his head. He was taken to Central Vermont Medical Center for treatment.
May 31 at 3:44 p.m., false alarm at Dartmouth Journal Services.
May 31 at 4:23 p.m., trash cans were stolen outside a residence on North Main Street.
May 31 at 9:36 p.m., attempted to locate woman who was reported missing when she failed to show up for her shift at Village Market. She was found safe this week.
