Police arrested a Moretown man early on the morning of Jan. 1 after his car went off the road and flipped on its side.
Vermont State Police received a report at 3 a.m. of a car that had gone off the road and was on its side off Route 100B in Moretown. Troopers located the car and its driver, 23-year-old Michael Verillo, who was standing outside the vehicle with his passenger. Both were uninjured, police said.
Police arrested Verillo for suspicion of driving under the influence. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court on Jan. 23.
