A pickup truck got into a minor collision with a police cruiser Tuesday morning at about 7:30 on Stowe Street in Waterbury.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Department cruiser, a 2007 Chevrolet, was being driven by Russell Hotchkiss, 66, of Chelsea; Eric Eley, 36, of Duxbury was driving a 2008 Nissan pickup.
No one was injured. The street was covered by snow and ice when the collision occurred. The pickup had damage to its left rear bed; the cruiser had minor front-end damage.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
