Vermont State Police cited a North Hyde Park man for drug possession late Monday night following a traffic stop.
Shawn M. McAllister, 34, was driving his 2003 Chevrolet Malibu on Route 100 in Waterbury at about 11:46 p.m. when he was pulled over for a traffic violation.
Police searched the car and found less than 2 and a half grams of cocaine along with other “regulated drugs.”
McAllister was charged with possession of cocaine and regulated drugs.
He’s scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court on Oct. 16.
