Diamonds and pearls have been stolen from a home on Jamies Way in Moretown, and Vermont State Police have asked pawnshops in the area to be on the lookout for anyone trying to pawn high-end jewelry.
The burglary was reported Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
Police said it’s not clear how many people got into the house, but they stole a jewelry box with assorted items inside, including a number with precious gems. The burglars also stole an iPad, Xbox and other items.
