Mindy Pistacchio opened Roots and Tides Massage and Yoga in early July in Waterbury, 92 S. Main Street.

A member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and recent graduate of Balance Massage School, Pistacchio took her first yoga class in Vermont over 15 years ago and has been practicing yoga ever since.

She has been teaching yoga for eight years and has over 750 hours of training. This June, she finished her 700-hour massage certification as well.

Roots and Tides offers a variety of massage and yoga sessions, including restorative yoga with massage, a yoga nidra class with hot stones, yin yoga with myofascial release, and more.
