Dan Mitchell, a psychologist, has joined the staff at Central Vermont Medical Center’s Integrative Family Health practice in Montpelier.
Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree, with honors, from SUNY-Brockport and earned master’s in school counseling and a doctorate in educational psychology from Northern Arizona University.
Mitchell has worked in the mental health field since 2002. Most recently, he was director of behavioral health at the North Country Family Health Center in Watertown, N.Y. He is a Vermont state licensed psychologist. He is well versed in treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositionality, and the challenges of parenting difficult children. He also has extensive experience working with military families.
