Mr. and Mrs. Michael Menard of Waterbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Lynn, to Matthew Barrett, son of James Barrett and Margaret Barrett of Queensbury, N.Y.
The future bride graduated from John Cabot University in Rome, Italy, and earned a master’s degree from Norwich University. She is a Study Abroad program coordinator for the University at Albany, N.Y.
The future groom attended Norwich University and is CEO of Barrett Transportation Services Inc. A fall 2016 wedding is planned in Ireland.
