The Vermont American Legion held its 96th annual state convention at the Killington Grand Hotel June 26 to 28. Officers were elected and installed to lead the organization for 2014-15.
Richard Gray of Harry N. Cutting Post 59 in Waterbury was re-elected state commander.
Fred Latour of Morristown Post 33 is senior vice commander.
Henry Cleveland of Squadron 7 in Hardwick was re-elected senior vice commander of the Sons of the American Legion.
Lou Furry of Post 7 in Hardwick was elected director of the American Legion Riders.
