The 13th annual Waterbury Arts Fest, organized by Revitalizing Waterbury, will be held on the evening of Friday, July 11, and all day Saturday, July 12. More than 80 regional vendors will showcase award-winning fine art, whimsical upcycled crafts, specialty food and entertainment.

On Friday, the beer and wine garden opens at 6 p.m. Nimble Arts, a trapeze acrobatics act, will perform on Stowe Street at 6:30 p.m., followed by Kat Wright and the Indomitable Soul Band, a local powerhouse of retro-soul, at 7:30 p.m.

Family events include a Family Bike Parade, led by Waterbury Parks and Recreation, on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Rusty Parker Park, and the popular Art Spy Scavenger Hunt that engages youth with art and artists throughout the festival.
