The seventh annual Vacation Getaway raffle, hosted by Sons of the American Legion Squadron 59, will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, at Post 59 in Waterbury. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with the raffle drawing around 8:30.
The Hitmen will provide music and the evening includes food and a 50/50 raffle. Come dressed in “redneck” attire and compete for a prize.
Only 250 raffle tickets will be sold. The first prize is an all-inclusive trip to a destination of your choice. The package value is $4,000 or cashout of $3,500. The second prize is $300 cash and the third prize is $200 cash.
A $40 ticket admits two to the event; $2 chance tickets will also be sold to win a $40 Vacation Getaway raffle ticket for the main drawing.
