On Monday, June 1, the Rev. Praveena Ruud from Hyderabad, India, will speak at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Crucified One in Moretown.
Ruud and her American-born husband, Lee, run a gospel-based ministry called Abundant Life Care, which provides a home for 14 orphans; it ministers to youth through feeding centers, night schools and Vacation Bible Club outreaches.
All are welcome to hear her powerful story of growing up in a Hindu culture. The church is on Route 100 on the border of Waitsfield and Moretown. Information: 496-4516.
