A River Runs Through It Garden Club presents check

A River Runs Through It Garden Club presented a check for $500 at Thatcher Brook Primary School’s December all-school meeting. The donation will be used to plant a butterfly garden.

A River Runs Through It Garden Club of Waterbury raises money at its annual plant sale at Rusty Parker Park each May. Some proceeds from the sale are donated to local organizations whose work is in line with the scope and mission of the club.

This year, one of the donation recipients is Thatcher Brook Primary School, which will use the money to design and plant a butterfly garden to complement the preschoolers’ butterfly project.
