An evening of giving thanks and giving back will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 10 p.m. at a community rice and bean dinner at the Sugarbush Gatehouse Lodge.

Proceeds will benefit people struggling with food security, both locally and globally. The money will go to the Mad River Valley Interfaith Council’s Thanksgiving food baskets and Amurtel’s refugee feeding programs for Syrian and Haitian families.

After dinner, people can dance the night away to the sounds of the Funk Collection.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at the Warren Store, at Mad River Valley churches, or at the door. Bring a food item for the Thanksgiving baskets to be entered in a grand prize drawing.
