No Easy Mile

Zenbarn in Waterbury Center celebrates its third anniversary weekend by combining local beer, art and the desire to build a stronger and healthier community. “This year, we commit ourselves to raising awareness and funds to support the fight against opioid addiction, one of the biggest threats to this mission we’re facing today,” said co-owner Noah Fishman. On Friday, Nov. 15, a showing of the documentary “No Easy Mile” begins at 8 p.m., followed by a concert from Brooklyn-based Walk Talk to benefit the Enough is Enough campaign. Saturday, Nov. 16 features an a-la-carte barbecue dinner beginning at 6 p.m., with performances starting at 9 p.m. by Purple (the Craig Mitchell-led tribute to Prince) and DJ LKHD. Local artist Will Gebhard designed a special beer can in collaboration with Foam Brewers, and will create a piece of art live at the event; both will benefit the Vermont Recovery Network.
