Redhawks come-from-behind to beat MMU
Champlain Valley girls lacrosse came from behind to beat Mount Mansfield 11-10 on Friday, May 1 thanks to Annie Keen who scored five goals. Emma Owens and Megan Gannon contributed two goals apiece and Bailee Pudvar made 13 saves for the Redhawks.
Redhawks bounce back against South Burlington
Rayne Supple struck out eight and allowed two hits to lead Champlain Valley to a 7-0 win over South Burlington on Thursday, April 30. Supple also drove in three runs and scored a run for the Redhawks. Deagan Poland went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Softball team loses to SB
South Burlington defeated Champlain Valley 24-14 in high school softball action on Thursday, April 30. Elizabeth Boutin went 5-for-5 and Hattie Roberts took the loss.
Boys 4×100 relay team breaks meet record
The CVU 4×100 relay team of Zach Akey, Richard Baccei, Jeremiah Cory, and Tawn Tomasi set a new meet record with a time of 44.71 on Saturday, May 2 during the Burlington Invitational. Individual results were as follows:

Girls tennis team remains perfect
The girls tennis team shutout Mount Mansfield 7-0 on Friday, May 1 in Jericho. The team followed up that win with a 5-2 win over South Burlington on Monday, May 4. The matches against the Rebels were so competitive a total of four were decided by match breakers. The results of both matches were as follows:
