Outstanding young student leaders

Four local high school students received certificates recognizing their leadership skills at the Nov. 18 meeting of Charlotte-Shelburne Rotary. Chosen to receive Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, the four attended the RYLA weekend of leadership training at Lyndon State College in the summer, a busy three days of team-building, skill-honing and fun. At the Rotary meeting Rotarian Judith Christensen, who coordinates the RYLA program, introduced the students, as well as two local students who had received the award previously and were junior counselors at this year’s Lyndon program.
