Mildred Arlene Kenyon, 86, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015, at her home in Hinesburg. She was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Montpelier, one of 10 children of Frank Roswell Hayden and Mary Lena Forbes. She married Leonard Ezra Kenyon on Feb. 6, 1949, and he predeceased her on Jan. 28, 1972. Mildred is survived by their seven children, Nellie Tourville (Norm), Pamela Morse (Paul), Dayton Kenyon (Kim), Kathleen Kenyon, Priscilla Kenyon, Ray Kenyon (Irene), and Penelope Grady (Bob); sister, Edith Tewksbury; sister-in-law, Mary Hayden; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank all who assisted us on this journey. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at United Church of Hinesburg, with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Hinesburg Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to VNA of Chittenden County, 1110 Prim Road, Colchester, VT 05446.
