Tuesdays, Jan. 13 to Feb. 17, 3:15-4:15pm: Early Elementary Story Time (Kindergarten and 1st grade). Extend the school day with an hour at the library enjoying books, songs, poems and crafts. Light snack provided.
Tuesdays, Jan. 13 to Feb. 17, 12:15-1:15pm: Preschool Lunch Bunch. Join us for a fun-filled hour at the library with books, poems, songs and crafts. Please bring a packed lunch (Preschool story hour is designed for children ages 3 to 5 who can quietly enjoy a story time setting with or without a guardian).

Monday, Jan. 12, 10am: Mystery Book Group. This month we’re reading the first in Charles Todd’s Bess Crawford series, “Duty to the Dead.” Pick up a copy at the circulation desk beforehand and join us for coffee and conversation.

Felted Art with Elizabeth Bunsen: Imagine colorful balls of felted yarn in a 3-D work of art. Now imagine yourself crafting one. It can be done! With help from fiber artist Elizabeth Bunsen, try your hand at this cozy and creative craft.
A Walk Through Old Charlotte: Drawing on the pieces of her recent display at the Charlotte Library, Jenny Cole takes us for a tour around Charlotte through old photos and artifacts.
