Soccer registration is underway: Information and a registration form can be found on www.hinesburg.org under Recreation. The registration form may be sent via email at hinesburgrec@gmavt.net or hard copies are available outside of the Rec. Office. Register by Aug. 22 and save $10! Final deadline is Aug. 29. Coaches are still needed. Please contact the Hinesburg Rec. Dept. for information.
The Fall Recreation Guide: The guide is complete and posted online. Full of popular favorites like after-school horseback riding, golf, Hinesburg Children’s Choir, arts and crafts with Chris, the babysitting course, pre-school dance with Miss Jeanne, Little Strikers pre-school soccer, dog obedience, AARP safe driver class, Zumba, and yoga and some new spins on an old favorite like the haunted house cookie making with Wendy and Jazzercise passes for classes at Shelburne Health & Fitness. Hard copies will be mailed to all residents next week.
Hart & Mead Concert – Community members enjoyed hearing Shellhouse perform at last week’s Hart & Mead Concert in the Park. The final concert of the season was held Wednesday, Aug. 6 featuring the Hinesburg Community Band. Top Dog Grill returned again with some tasty items, cold drinks, strawberry shortcake, and ice cream. A good time was enjoyed by all.
