Hinesburg’s Bissonette Recreation Area received a $15,300 boost from the Quadra benefit concert held Friday night, Jan. 9 at the Old Lantern in Charlotte. Bissonette Recreational Area fundraising organizer Tom Ayer offered special thanks to Lantman’s Market, Jiffy Mart, and Green Mountain Concert Services for donations and assistance respectively. Kudos to Papa Nicks, Good Time Café, Papa McKee’s, Ramunto’s, Marco’s, Dutch Mill, Junior Lacaillade (ribs) for the tasty tidbits, and to the Old Lantern, the Growlers, and Quadra for the venue and terrific performances. And lastly a shout out to the auction donors, the volunteers, and paying guests, of which there are far too many to list, for making this annual event so successful. Above, Jenn Greenwood and Tom Ayer pose for a photo during the event.
