Singer Taryn Noelle and her trio, The Blue Gardenias (Amber deLaurentis and Juliet McVicker), accompanied by the renowned jazz pianist Tom Cleary, will appear in concert on Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7:30pm at Spotlight Vermont in South Burlington.
Presented by Bill Reed Voice Studio as part of The Singer’s Art Concert Series, Sentiments and Suitcases is a journey of the heart told through song. The arc of the story is a young woman’s journey toward finding self, love, family, her own artist’s way and ultimately the journey home. Taryn, Tom and the Blue Gardenias share moments of humor and heartbreak, while celebrating truth and presence, even if the moment is a difficult one.
The cabaret features songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Bock & Harnick, Cy Coleman & Dorothy Fields, Rodgers & Hart, Kim Gannon & Walter Kent, Joni Mitchell and some original compositions by both Amber deLaurentis and Tom Cleary.
Spotlight Vermont is located at 50 San Remo Drive in South Burlington. Tickets are $20 at the door or online. To buy tickets in advance visit http://billreedvoicestudio.com/the-studio/the-singers-art-concert-series/sentimentsandsuitcases.html.
