Spanning genres

Zenbarn and Camp Meade collaborate Sunday, Sept. 1, 4 – 9 p.m. for live music and community gathering for Free Music Sundays!, and event series at Camp Meade, 961 Route 2, Middlesex. Walk Talk, a new project by Pimps of Joytime members Mayteana Morales and David Bailis, along with long-time collaborators from the NYC music scene, will perform. “We hope people will come to dance, to connect, and to have a great time with family and friends,” says Zenbarn’s Noah Fishman. The Brooklyn-based Walk Talk identifies as a culmination of time, genre, travel, rhythm and dance, offering a fresh and inspired take on classic 60s soul, high-life Afro-rhythms, quiet storm R&B, golden-era hip hop, and boogie funk. The band takes the stage at 6 p.m. Food and beverages on site.
