Vermont Stage will host a photo competition for its upcoming production of Terrance McNally’s play “Mothers and Sons.” The drama, which was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play of 2015, drama deals with change, reconciliation and what it means to be family. It will be presented Wednesdays through Sundays, Jan. 27 to Feb. 15, at the FlynnSpace, 153 Main St., Burlington.
Vermont Stage wants to know how people define “family,” who is a part of it, how they see one another, and what they like to do together. Photographers of all levels are welcome to enter a photograph that best describes their families. Winners will receive two free tickets to the play, and the top 10 entries will be displayed at the FlynnSpace during performances of the play.
Photos will be accepted through Monday, Jan. 11; photographers should include their names, contact information and a brief description of the photograph. Email to emily@vtstage.org or mail to Vermont Stage, 110 Main St., Burlington, VT 05401.
