Ben & Jerry’s Movie Festival begins on Saturday, July 4, with a showing of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1,” at the factory on Route 100 in Waterbury Center.

Next in the lineup will be “Earth to Echo” on July 11, “Muppets Most Wanted” on July 18, “The Boxtrolls” on July 25, “Big Hero 6” on Aug. 1, and “Maleficent” on Aug. 8.

Movies begin at dusk — at about 9 p.m. now, and earlier as the days get shorter.

Bring a chair and pick up a summer movie passport. Visitors will have their passports stamped and receive a free tour coupon for attending one movie; a free small cone for three movies; and a Ben & Jerry’s hat for five movies. Passport attendees at all six movies are entered into a drawing for free ice cream for a year (52 pint coupons).
