Several streets in Morrisville will be closed to traffic on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31 to allow for safer trick-or-treating.

The streets that will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. include Maple, Court, Summer, Olive and East Olive streets, Cherry and Harrison avenues, and a portion of Union Street. All those streets will remain closed off to motorists until police deem the trick-or-treating rush is over and it’s safe to reopen them.

Congress Street will remain open throughout the evening to allow drivers a route through the village to and from Washington Highway.
