The Barre-Tones, central Vermont’s internationally ranked a cappella chorus.

The Barre-Tones, Central Vermont’s women’s a cappella chorus, will hold a guest night on Monday, June 1, at 6:45 p.m. at Alumni Hall, adjacent to the Barre Auditorium on Seminary Street.

Women of all ages and musical ability are welcome to join in on the fun. Carpools may be available upon request.

The Barre-Tones have been chartered in Barre since 1969 and meet each Monday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The 40-plus members of the Barre-Tones chorus perform music in the barbershop style. Attending a guest night is a great opportunity to meet women from across Central Vermont and learn about this unique style of performing. Music-reading ability is not necessary, though a good singing voice is required.
