Francesca Blanchard and her band will perform in the gazebo on the lawn of the Helen Day Memorial Building and Stowe Free Library on Tuesday, July 29, from 7 to 8 p.m. The Gazebo Concerts, presented by Stowe Performing Arts, are free, one-hour concerts on four consecutive Tuesday evenings in late July and early August. Picnics and lawn chairs are welcome.
Blanchard is a singer-songwriter born and raised in France who traveled the globe with her family before settling in Charlotte. Her music reflects her travels, both physical and emotional. Her debut EP release was performed on her mother’s Ovation guitar.
Blanchard will be joined by Matthew Kloss on bass, Charles Smyrk on drums, and Matthew Shrag on guitar and mandolin.
Support for the Gazebo Concerts is provided by Friends of Stowe Free Library, Green Mountain Fine Art Gallery and the Stowe Reporter.
