Applications are available to sell locally produced agricultural products, prepared foods made with locally-grown ingredients and traditional crafts at the Capital City Farmers’ Market in Montpelier in 2016. Applications are due by Sunday, Jan. 31.
The market application includes vending spaces year-round, including the 26 outdoor markets starting in May and the 10 indoor markets starting in December and running through April 2017.
All items must originate from Washington County or a bordering county and be produced by the vendor. Applications from vendors outside of central Vermont will be considered on an individual basis.
The market provides area residents and visitors with a year-round opportunity to buy the freshest produce from local growers and to directly support Vermont’s agricultural economy. The market also features many handmade crafts. Started in 1977, it is one of the oldest markets in Vermont.
Applications are available at capitalcityfarmersmarket.com. Contact Carolyn Grodinsky at 223-2958 or manager@montpelierfarmersmarket.com.
