Letty Annis will be exhibiting her watercolor paintings from Tuesday, Sept. 2, to Friday, Oct. 31, at Copley Woodlands, 125 Thomas Lane, Stowe. The gallery is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Annis lives in Jeffersonville with her husband, Carlton. She began painting in high school, but put it aside for over 40 years as she attended college, raised a family of four and worked for AT&T until her retirement in 1998. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002 from Montclair State University in New Jersey, majoring in oil painting and art history.

Annis has pursued a study of watercolor with workshops at Peter’s Valley, N.J., painting tours in France, and classes at the Montclair Museum of Art, Morris County Art Association and Kubert Art School in Dover, N.J. She also studies with Kathleen Berry Bergeron and Lisa Forster Beach and in watercolor workshops throughout Vermont.

Her paintings have been displayed and sold at juried and non-juried shows throughout Vermont.
