Watercolors by Wendy Breeden are on display daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Copley Woodlands, 125 Thomas Lane, Stowe. Breeden has lived here since the 1970s, and owned and managed her own clothing business, Wendy’s Closet on the Mountain Road.
Breeden says, “I have been fortunate to work with wonderful artists these past 18 years, among them my mother, Evelyn Breeden, and Lisa Forster Beach. They have all encouraged me to follow my own interpretation of inspiration. I find my favorite studio is painting en plein air. To be in the moment of quiet, with nature, is always a joy for me. To be inspired by what lays before me and inside of me never ceases to amaze me.”
