Bryan Gallery show honors legacy

Kevin Fahey of Stowe is among the artists featured in the 2015 Legacy Collection, a show that runs through Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the Bryan Memorial Gallery, 180 Main St., Jeffersonville. Gallery hours are Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment.

The show features 38 artists, 25 of whom are still living, whose works continue the legacy of Alden and Mary Bryan. They includs winners of the 2014 Alden Bryan Awards (John Caggiano and Robert Duffy) and artists whose work has found particular favor with the gallery’s guests.

The collection also includes “Hidden Treasures,” works by deceased artists that are owned by gallery members and available for sale. Another section includes a fresh look at 29 works by Mary Bryan and Alden Bryan. The collection includes watercolors, oils, acrylics, photographs, pastels, and mixed media artworks for sale.
