“Waterville Bridge,” by Eric Tobin, at Visions of Vermont Gallery in Jeffersonville.

The exhibit “Bridges and Steel” opened last weekend at Visions of Vermont Galleries in Jeffersonville.

It includes works by two local artists, Eric Tobin and Bill Salmon. Tobin is showing covered bridge paintings he completed during the last 15 years. Salmon is showing his metal sculptures. He is a seventh-generation Vermonter and metal artist who owns Sugarhouse Ironworks and makes pot racks, railings and other commissioned work. He is known for his delicate flower sculptures.
