The second week of turkey season featured far fewer harvested birds than the first, according to reports at The Fly Rod Shop in Stowe. The season continues through the month of May.
The following harvested birds were reported at The Fly Rod Shop between May 5 and 11.
Tony Immediato: 19-pound tom, 8.5-inch beard; Bradley Austin: 17-pound tom, 9-inch beard; Kermit Spaulding: 20-pound tom, 8-inch beard, and 20.5-pound tom, 8.75-inch beard; Gale Towne: 15-pound jake, 3.5-inch beard, and 12-pound jake, 2-inch beard; Robert Mandigo: 17.5-pound tom, 8.5-inch beard.
