Turnout has been strong in the early going of skeet and trap season at the Waterbury-Stowe Fish and Game Club, 5350 Route 100 in Waterbury.
Using a shotgun, shooters are challenged to break 25 airborne clay pigeons from fixed stations around a large semicircle.

Family memberships are available for $45 per year. Membership is not required for the regular Tuesday night clay pigeon events, held 4:30 to 7:30-ish. A round of skeet or trap costs $4. Bring your own shells and shotgun. All are welcome. Information: wsfgc.com or email george.bambara@pallspera.com.
