To the Editor:
It is one month ago, on Dec. 13, 2013, that we lost our beloved daughter Haven and we are still trying to navigate immense shock and sorrow. We want to let our families, friends, neighbors and the greater Stowe community know how grateful we are for all the love, care and concern shown to us at such an impossibly difficult time.
We would also like to thank Rev. Bruce Comisky and Fran Whitney Nelson for their guidance and prayers. We also want to thank Stowe Mountain Resort, Stowe Family Dentistry and Lamoille Home Health along with other businesses, restaurants and people who donated food, ran errands, made phone calls, gave vehicles, sent hundreds of sympathy cards and countless other gestures.
As we continue to process our immeasurable loss of Haven, the support still continues to pour in. We have never been more humble, grateful and proud to live and work in our wonderful and special community of Stowe.
