We want to thank the community of Stowe and all of its visitors for making the Traditional Christmas in Stowe festivities another successful weekend.
So many organizations in Stowe came together, once again, to kick off the holiday season, and we are extremely grateful for that.
Thank you to Stowe Performing Arts for its presentation of the Constitution Brass Quintet; thank you to Stowe Elementary School, the Stowe Recreation Department, and the Mountain Choraleers for the Lantern Parade and Village Lighting Ceremony and Jeff Decales (Mr. Elf) leading the children through the village; thank you to the Helen Day Art Center and its Festival of Trees and Lights; and thanks to all who make the Tree of Lights light up.
And for Saturday’s festivities, thank you to Stowe Mercantile for bringing Santa and Mrs. Claus to Stowe; thank you again to Paul Percy and Dominique Couture, who braved the cold, wet weather to provide the wagon rides all afternoon; Bourne’s Energy for providing outside heat and Vermont Harvest Catering for the delicious food; the artisans who displayed their handmade crafts at the Artisan Market, and thank you to all of the figure skaters who brought figure skating back to the Stowe Arena on Saturday evening.
Finally, thank you to the Stowe Police Department, and all of the Stowe Vibrancy board members and exceptional volunteers.
We’re looking forward to next year!
