One morning, combing my hair, I noticed the short hairs eluding my grasp. It was important to get short and long hairs together smoothly, to make the hairdo look neat and firm. That way it stays securely on all day, no matter what the wind or the chiropractor do to my head.
As I was looking in the mirror, the insight came to me: the short hairs are like the children growing up, squirming out of the grays of worried parents. The long hairs are adults, used to obediently following the flow of fashion.
