To the Editor:
Thank you to everyone who supported the 19th annual Ham and Bean Dinner on Saturday, May 20, at the Town and Country Resort.
Sponsored by the Blessed Sacrament Women’s Club of Stowe, this benefit dinner is a major fundraiser with total proceeds going to community outreach and local charities such as the Lamoille Food Share, Lamoille Cancer Network, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Clarina Howard Nichols Center, Lamoille Home Health and Hospice, Lamoille Family Center and more.
We wish to thank the following businesses for donations of food and products: McCarthy’s Restaurant, Sunset Grille, Gracie’s Restaurant, Harrison’s Restaurant, Trattoria La Festa, the Matterhorn, the Bagel, the Pizza Joint, Kate Nielson, the XPress, Percy’s Maple Products, Stowe Kitchen Bath & Linens, and Price Chopper.
Also, thank you to all the volunteer workers and to all the ladies of the parish who contributed the delicious pies and desserts.
