As you probably know by now, after more than 50 years as a pharmacist, we are retiring and closing our beloved pharmacy, Heritage Drugs.
We always prided ourselves in delivering prompt, caring and professional service. We always answered the phone right away (you did not need to “press 1 or 2” or listen to music) and took care of each patient as he or she walked in the door (and their dogs, too), but surviving as a small, independent pharmacy was becoming harder every day.
Our last day of operation was Wednesday, July 1. Today, July 2, our files as well as our phone number will be transferred to the new CVS on Route 15 in Morrisville, just off the bypass. CVS bought our files and inventory and we hope you will give them a try.
The last few weeks have been very emotional. We are deeply touched by the many displays of affection: hugs, smiles and tears, gifts, flowers, cards, phone calls, visits, treats for Deanna, and kind expressions of gratitude
and good wishes, as well as sadness that we are leaving.
We wish to thank our many faithful friends and customers. Over the years, we shared some of the happy and sad moments of their lives. We want to wish them all the best and tell them one more time, “Be well.”
P.S.: A special thank you to Terry, who has been by our side for the last 10 years with her vast knowledge, hard work and kind support; and to Rick for being there for us.
