No one was injured Monday when a vehicle slammed into the Eden General Store, causing significant damage to the building.
Jordan Parker, 23, of Verona, Va., was driving east on Route 118 Monday at 8:54 a.m. when, according to Vermont State Police, his 2005 Jeep Liberty went through a stop sign at Route 100 and, going about 45 mph, whipped across the highway and through the general store parking lot, punched a hole in the store’s exterior wall and drove partway into the store itself.
