May 19, at 3:41 p.m., two-car parking lot accident at Shaw’s; no injuries.
May 19, at 4:59 p.m., police turned over a possible credit card fraud to the bank, which is investigating.
May 20, between 7:24 a.m. and 10:05 p.m., police made a total of 31 traffic stops as part of the statewide Click it or Ticket seatbelt campaign.
May 21, at 4:54 a.m., police picked up a man walking along Maple Street, found he was being sought by Lamoille County Mental Health (LCMH), and took him there.
May 21, at 6:47 p.m., police assisted LCMH with another patient.
May 22, at 1:41 p.m., police checked on an Old Farm Road residence on behalf of Vermont State Police; they did not see the car state police were looking for.
May 22, at 2:18 p.m., a Vermont license plate found on Mountain Road was turned into police.
May 22, at 6:40 p.m., two roaming dogs were found on Luce Hill Road and reunited with their owners.
May 23, at 1:44 a.m., police were called to assist with an incident in Johnson but were waved off en route.
May 23, at 12:29 p.m., a mother on Adams Mill Road reported her three kids and dog missing, but they came home eventually.
May 23, at 4:05 p.m., a person asked police to check on a South Main Street resident. All was fine; the ringer was just turned off.
May 23, at 5:57 p.m., a Vermont license plate found on Edson Hill Road was turned in to police.
May 23, at 6:06 p.m., reports of some horses in the road, but they were contained when police arrived.
May 23, at 8:39 p.m., someone reported that a motorist had driven into the Alpenrose Motel parking lot, hung out there a while, and pulled away.
May 24, at 12:17 p.m., a car reportedly left the scene of an accident in the Union Bank parking lot.
May 24, at 2:17 p.m., kids playing in a vacant lot on Sylvan Park Road were asked to leave, and they did.
May 24, at 9:03 p.m., police assisted Stowe Fire Department at an un-permitted bonfire near the Rusty Nail.
May 24, at 9:26 p.m., a Maple Street apartment tenant called to complain about a neighbor’s dog barking.
May 25, at 12:30 a.m., police arrested Mark C. Lyons, 48, of Wallingford, Conn., for suspicion of DUI 1, and issued him tickets for marijuana possession and failure to stay to the right.
May 25, at 3:02 a.m., a bonfire at the Pinnacle Drive parking area was legally permitted.
May 25, at 8:03 a.m., a Mountain Road restaurant employee called police to ask how to deal with another employee; he was told to have management deal with it.
May 25, at 3:28 p.m., an AJ’s Ski and Sports employee felt it was suspicious when a person purchased roughly $800 in gear and then returned it soon after.
May 25, at 6:05 p.m., Morristown police used Stowe’s booking room for a DUI arrest, since their Alco-Sensor was down.
May 25, at 8:03 p.m., the Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department also used the Stowe booking room.
May 25, at 8:30 p.m., Corporal David Knight helped a woman take care of her dog that had died, helping her wrap and bury her pet.
May 25, at 10:05 p.m., a car went off the side of Nebraska Valley Road; no injuries reported.
May 25, at 11:24 p.m., Morristown police used Stowe’s booking room for another DUI.
