At the request of the Vermont Agency of Transportation, Vermont State Police will be stepping up enforcement of driving rules in construction zones.
Construction workers statewide are reporting an alarming number of drivers are using electronic devices while driving inside work zones. In some instances, workers tried to track how many drivers were using their electronic devices, but there were so many, they lost count.
