A man and woman are charged with assaulting a man in Worcester in an argument over drug money.
Caleb Martin, 27, of Morrisville is charged with punching and choking the man; Shelley Stevenson, 25, of Hyde Park is charged with smashing a glass bottle over his head. They’re charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
Vermont State Police were called to the dispute in Worcester just after midnight on June 7.
The injured man was taken to Copley Hospital for treatment; Martin and Stevenson were arrested and held for lack of $5,000 bail at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility. They were arraigned Monday in Washington County Superior Court.
