A Fairfax man was charged with driving under the influence Saturday in Johnson.
Geoffrey Roberts, 49, was stopped at 10:39 p.m. for a traffic violation on Route 15, Vermont State Police said. Investigation showed he’d been consuming alcohol, and a roadside breath test showed a blood-alcohol level of 0.17 percent, more than double the 0.08 that’s proof of intoxication.
He’s due in Lamoille County Superior Court on Oct. 28.
