Cases decided week of July 28
Benn R. Nichols, 30, of Stowe, driving under the influence No. 2, pleaded guilty, sentenced six to 12 months, with all but four days suspended, two-year probation, $300 fine; test refusal, case dismissed.
Chapman Smith, 46, of Stowe, DUI No. 2, pleaded guilty, jail sentence of six to 12 months suspended during good behavior, ordered to perform 200 hours of community service, placed on probation for two years; careless or negligent driving, case dismissed.
Kaitlyn Kochakji, 25, DUI No. 1, pleaded guilty, jail sentence of six to 18 months suspended during good behavior, one-year probation, $300 fine.
Ryan S. Canfield, 34, of Rutland, DUI No. 1, found guilty by jury, sentenced six to 12 months, all suspended, 30 hours community service, two-year probation, $300.
Cody Loren Wells, 24, of Hyde Park, DUI No. 1, pleaded guilty, jail sentence of three to six months suspended during good behavior, one-year probation, fined $300.
Ryan Dower, 31, of Stowe, DUI No. 1, pleaded guilty, jail sentence of three to six months suspended during good behavior, one-year probation, fined $300.
Jonathan Turo, 28, of Stowe, DUI No. 1, pleaded guilty, fined $300.
Dylan Conway, 24, of Newton, Mass., DUI No. 1, pleaded guilty, fined $300.
Melissa S. Hess, 35, of Morrisville, driving after license suspension, pleaded guilty, sentenced nine to 10 days, fined $300; violating conditions of release, case dismissed.
Ashley Hubbard, 22, of Jeffersonville, driving after license suspension, pleaded guilty, sentenced three to four days, fined $300; second charge dismissed.
Ian Salls, 28, of Hyde Park, driving after license suspension, pleaded guilty, sentenced three to four days, fined $300.
Judi Tomasi, 45, of Jeffersonville, disorderly conduct, pleaded guilty, sentence deferred two years; domestic assault, case dismissed.
Andrew Lemieux, 26, of Derby, careless or negligent driving, pleaded guilty, fined $300.

James L. Baker, 58, of Belvidere, DUI No. 2, pleaded not guilty.
Scott Berteau, 48, of Richmond, domestic assault, pleaded not guilty.
Brandon Graham, 22, of Essex, simple assault, pleaded not guilty.
Justin C. Brock, 35, of Wolcott, violating probation, denied charge; driving after license suspension, pleaded not guilty.
Andrew Davis, 18, of Georgia, attempted burglary, also buying, receiving, selling, possessing or concealing stolen goods, pleaded not guilty.
Christopher T. Lyon, 36, of Belvidere, driving after license suspension, pleaded not guilty.
